Donald Lees – Programme Delivery Director
Donald Lees is an enthusiastic, experienced and bi-Lingual French native speaker with international business and management experience in the UK & West Africa (Operations, Accounting, Business Development, Credit Management, Soft Commodity Supply Chain, Mobile Financial Services, Real Estate, Cross Border Trade) and detain impeccable business contact network in Emerging Markets.

Donald Lees is responsible for the delivery of programmes at Innovate Africa. He is a great addition to the Executive Management Team since January 2020.

Olu Dehinbo – Global Legal Counsel

Olu(Olubunmi) Dehinbo has an extensive legal experience in commercial law, Civil Litigation and Insolvency gained from working for Law firms, Insolvency sector, as well as the Financial Services and is currently working as a Senior Litigator for a bank.

She holds a degree in English Language from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife, Nigeria, Law at the University of Buckingham, and International Commercial Law at the University of Westminster.

She was also called to Bar by The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in October 2004 and is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

William Ochola – Business & Partnership Development Director

William Ochola is a highly successful general manager and senior business leader who has built a reputation for delivering broad transformative change across a range of markets, organisations and functions in mobile product space.  Some of his past achievements include:

  • At NetOne Payment System, Zambia, in just 90 days from his appointment in December 1st 2018 he signed 7 banks out of 18 banks and 2 telcos of 3 telcos, also he helped acquired 257,000 active users served with 2,000 merchant outlets in Zambia under one year. 
  • Helped grow Safaricom’s Mpesa from 2 million dollars to 6 million dollars in western Kenya in just in 3 months. Also led Mpesa agent growth from 1 Mpesa Agent to 20,000 under one year. He also  led merchant payment in Nairobi and in 24 months achieved 120,000 merchants 
  • At Finserve Africa, driving 15,000 subscribers per day
  • During his time at Equity Bank, he helped drive merchant payments achieving 60,000 merchants in 14 weeks 
  • At IFC-World Bank Ghana, he helped achieve 1000 agents in 16 months which is a massive alternative touchpoint for Cal bank customers.

William studied Bachelor of Arts Education (history and Business at the University of Nairobi and holds an MBA from the same university And Global Business from Harvard Business School.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keamogetswe Matsho – Marketing Director
Having qualified with a B. A in Languages (majoring in English) from the University of Pretoria in 2012 and completed a postgraduate B. A (Hons) in Brand Leadership from Vega in 2015, Keamogetswe is a highly motivated individual, with more than 10 years proven experience operating in positions that included being a Project Manager, PR & Image Consultant, Brand Strategist & Tender Administrator, Group Marketing & Communications Manager and currently working as Chief Executive for a start-up atmospheric water generation technology and water bottling company headquartered in Pretoria with a production plant in Garankuwa
(Pretoria North). The companies worked for included Success Summit Ltd, Maree Firefighting Technology (Pty) Ltd, Moipone Group of Companies (Pty) Ltd and then Aqua Air Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Having had occupied various senior roles, with strengths in communication, corporate and brand strategy, sales & marketing, leadership & people/talent management while prioritizing the bottom line

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexey Gusev – Chief Technical Officer

Alexey is an experienced hands-on CTO who is driven by to-do attitude and solving complex problems that result in commercial success. I have a broad range of skills combining deep technical expertise, team leading and management. I am a passionate advocate of the pragmatic, results-driven approach.

Emmanuel Vin-Kabb -Finance Director

Emmanuel is a chartered accountant, (FCCA), (MAAT), (PGCE) with industrial and public sector experience. He has developed a proactive approach to working with a wide range of clients and skilled in developing cash flow systems. 

Emmanuel is passionate about the African continent and he is always on the continent overseeing social enterprise activities through his charitable organisations and other business interests.

He has been running his accountancy practice in the UK over the last 20 years.
